Hello!
I have made another card with my Blooming Florals stencil....
I used glitter texture paste through the stencil and, when dry, cut the flowers out. I die cut a circle and gold embossed a sentiment from Altenew and combined it with a die cut sentiment from Stamplorations. I combined it with kraft and dusty pink card.
I shall link up for a second time at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes.
Here is the stencil that I used:
I hope you like this card!

Masculine Cards
Hello,
I have been playing with a new geometric stencil which works perfectly for masculine style cards:
I silver embossed the stencil and popped a piece of grey cardstock with a hexagon aperture over the top. I added a sentiment from Neat and Tangled to complete the simple design. I shall ink up at Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is masculine cards and at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes.

Coffee Buzz
Hello,
I wanted to take the opportunity to play along at the fab Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Blog Hop and decided to use my coffee heartbeat stencil to make this:
I masked off the heartbeat section of the image and simply inked through the coffee cup in a range of distress oxides. I stamped a small heart in the centre of each label. I white embossed a sentiment from Uniko on to black card.
A quick and super simple card :)
You can find the stencil in my Folksy store.

Deep Blue Sea
Hello,
The code word for the current challenge at Addicted to CAS is SEA so I decided to get my mermaid stencil out for a play:
I inked through the stencil and clear embossed the image before brushing shades of blue across the corner of the card and building it up to create a watery background. I used my messy dots stencil to create the row of bubbles and a foliage stamp in shades of green and blue to create the sea weed. The sentiment is from Visible Image. I added some touches of white pen to create some highlights.
The stencils are available in my Folksy store:

I wanted to play along with the new challenge at Less is More which is to make a CAS one layer card based on the theme - Thinking of You. I inked up some of the new release from Uniko to make this card:
I inked through Uniko's lattice stencil in a combination of peacock feathers and cracked pistachio distress oxides. I then stamped the lovely leafy silhouette from Just Because in navy ink from Hero Arts. The sentiment is from Pure Florals Lily. I shall also link up at Calling All Sistahs - thanks to Sandie for the suggestion :)
While I had the lattice stencil out I inked it up again before stamping the Pure Florals Rose stamp. In used the navy ink and then coloured over it with one of the Tonic Nuvo glitter markers. I then inked through the Nature's Treasures stencil to add leaves and the sentiment is from Just Because. A few ink splatters complete the design.
I shall link up for a second time at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where we are using more than one stamp.

Simple Flowers
Hello!
The new birthday challenge at AAA Cards prompted me to ink up my new Folksy Floral set from Altenew to make a bright and simple birthday card.
I inked through my quilted pattern stencil on the card base with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide. I stamped the folk flowers in Altenew inks across a card panel before popping it up above the card base. I hope this clean and simple birthday card will brighten someone's day! Congrats to the team over at AAA Cards for reaching this fourth birthday milestone :)
I shall also link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge to use more than one stamp and at the Anything Goes challenge at Seize the Birthday.

Vibrant Florals
Hello!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend :) I have been inspired by the latest photo inspiration challenge at Time Out to use my floral stencil and make this card:
I inked up the dahlia style flower in Spiced Marmalade, Fossilised Amber and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides and cut them out. I also inked through Uniko's Natures Treasures leaf stencil in Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides to create the foliage. I arranged the leaves and flowers on some dark navy cardstock and added a sentiment from Uniko.
I was obviously inspired by the gorgeous floral wallpaper in the inspiration photo and love the way that the flowers pop against the dark background.
I shall link up at AAA Cards where we are being inspired by nature....I hope my design is CAS enough?!
I hope that you like this flowery card and check out the stencil in my Folksy store....

Sweet Roses
Hello!
I am popping by to share a couple of cards that I have made with a new stencil which features two flowers. They work perfectly for the current challenge over at Time Out:
I shall also link up at Simon's Monday Challenge where we are being inspired by songs. When making this card I kept thinking of the song 'Rose Garden' with the lyric, I never promised you a rose garden!! I don't know who sang it though?
I am popping by to share a couple of cards that I have made with a new stencil which features two flowers. They work perfectly for the current challenge over at Time Out:
I inked through the rose stencil with Distress Inks and then added further shading with Spectrum Noir pencils. I cut them both out and popped them on top of Uniko's new Nature's Treasures leaf stencil. The sentiment is from Uniko too and works with Time Out's word inspiration: Friends are the Charming Gardeners who make our Souls Blossom.
While I had the stencil out, I inked through the dahlia style flower with distress inks and used it for a birthday card.
The shapes are easy enough to cut out easily (I don't have much patience!) and are sized to make a good focal point on cards without being overwhelming. I hope you like them!
The stencil is available in my Folksy shop:

Birthday Makes
Hello!
I have two birthday cards to share with you today which use an art deco style stencil. I decided to emboss it in copper on blue cardstock.
I love the way that the copper pops against the rich blue! I die cut a square panel out of the centre and popped the remaining frame up on foam tape. I die cut the number from a copper coloured cardstock and combined it with a sentiment from Altenew.
I shall link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge which is to use a stencil this week and at CASology where the cue card is copper.
I then made a card with the central panel which had been die cut from the card above:
I shall link this card up at Simon's Monday Challenge where we are using stencils and at Seize the Birthday where the twist is to use a number.
You can find this stencil in my Folksy store.
I hope you are enjoying a sunny weekend.....thanks for stopping by :)

Another Stencil!
Hello!
I have a card made with another new stencil to share with you today :) I just love this cool silhouette and mask and suspect that I will be using it a lot....
I simply inked through the aperture with Black Soot distress inks and then stamped a range of grungy and abstract images over the top. They are a combination of Lisa Horton stamps and Neat and Tangled. I added some pops of colour to give the image some extra interest. The sentiment is from CASual Fridays.
I shall link up at both Simon's Monday Challenge and Simon's Wednesday Challenge where the focus is stencils.
I hope you like this design :)

Mermaids
Hello!
The lovely Ruth from Crafting While the Baby Naps has recently been making cards featuring lots of sweet mermaids and that got me thinking about making a mermaid stencil....
Here is what I came up with:
The lovely Ruth from Crafting While the Baby Naps has recently been making cards featuring lots of sweet mermaids and that got me thinking about making a mermaid stencil....
Here is what I came up with:
I inked a panel in blue distress inks and then inked over the panel with my Messy Dots stencil in the same colours. Then I inked through my pearl seeking mermaid silhouette with black ink before embossing over the top with clear holographic embossing powder to add some shimmer. I simply stamped an old sentiment from Hero Arts along the edge of the panel. I shall link my card up at Simon's Monday Challenge which is to use a stencil.
I inked through my sitting mermaid in distress oxides before using the mask and inking round her with the messy dots. Whilst the mask was in place I drew in the detail around her arms with a white paint pen.
I hope you like these designs. The stencils are available in my Folksy store:

The Uniko release is finally here and available to purchase!! It contains a fab range of stamps, stencils and dies and I have had so much fun making cards with them this week.....Here are a few cards that I haven't shared with you yet.
Here I have used the Stylised Floral stencil with colour bursts - sprinkling the powder and spritzing through the stencil with water. The sentiment is from the lovely Just Because stamp set.
By contrast with the multi coloured first card, here is a CAS way of using the Stylised Floral. I inked through it with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide and then popped a circle aperture over the top. I love this crisp look.
I used the Party Confetti stencil on this card alongside the balloons from the Balloon Bash stencil and birthday sentiments from the last release.
I hope that you hop along with us to celebrate release day and see all of the lovely products showcased. You can find the links to all of the DT blogs at Uniko. I look forward to seeing what you come up with when you get yours :)

Craft Stamper May Challenge
Hello!
Today I am sharing my latest card for the May Take It Make It challenge over at the Craft Stamper blog. It is easy to take part - anything goes as long as your project features some aspect of stamping.
I stamped the fab background from Studio Light on the card base in navy ink. I then used my surfer stencil over the top, inking in shades of blue distress oxides before adding further details from Lisa Horton's Inspiring Edges stamp set.
I hope that the combination of blues and stamped elements give a sense of movement on this simple, one layer card.
Do check out the wonderful inspiration from the DT over at Craft Stamper!
There is a fab prize from Skull and Cross Buns for a randomly chosen winner :)

Uniko Introducing....Originally Organic Dies
Hello!
I just have one card today introducing a new set of dies that Uniko are releasing on Saturday which work in conjunction with the popular Originally Organic stamps. I just cut out the middle aperture from kraft card and popped it up over deep blue card.
I coloured the image in pencil which I think looks lovely on the kraft. I only realised that the sentiment was the wrong way round once I had stamped it but I think it works just as well like this!!
The rest of the DT have gorgeous samples to share on the Uniko blog which showcase how these dies work with the stamps to offer even more versatility.
I hope you are enjoying this week's pre-release fun. I shall be back on Saturday for the release blog hop!

All at Sea
Hello!
I have been playing with my stencils and making some sea themed cards which I thought that I would share with you today. First up is a card using my surfer stencil which I am using a lot at the moment:
I pounced round the mask with alcohol inks on acetate. I then attached that to the back of a white card frame which is popped up on foam tape over a card blank on which I had stamped a distressed numbers background in blue.
I shall link this card up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where the theme is cards for the boys.
I have also got a seahorse silhouette stencil and mask. I inked my messy dots stencil through the seahorse and then inked round the edge of the shape to give the seahorse definition. The sentiment is from Concord and 9th.
I shall link up at CASology where the cue card this week is Marine and at Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is ombre.
All 3 stencils are available to buy in my Folksy shop.

Today we are showcasing two of the stencils in Uniko's fab new release which will be available to purchase on 12 May. As you probably know, I love working with stencils and I had lots of fun with these :)
I stippled through the stencil with shimmer paints on dark blue card and cut it with a circle die. I did the same on the white card base and popped the circle up on foam tape. The sentiment is gold embossed - it is from the Birthday Sentiments set that was in the last release.
I inked through the confetti stencil in a rainbow of colours and then cut it out using Altenew's bold alpha dies. I inked through Uniko's Wonky Stripes stencil on the card base and popped the letters on top of it.
Finally I used the stylised floral stencil with black gloss paste on gold mirri card - it gives a really luxurious look! The sentiment is from Just Because.
I hope you like these stencil designs - they are very versatile! The rest of the DT have lots of inspiration to share on the Uniko blog to show just how many uses these stencils have.

Alcohol Inks
Hello!
I have been playing with alcohol inks today and have a couple of cards to share with you. First up I used a range of inks on acetate and then used it as a background for the gorgeous floral die plate from Stamplorations:
I used a sentiment from Stamplorations Hope Blooms set to complete the design. I shall link it up at The Flower Challenge where we are using acetate or vellum.
I also used the inks on some yupo paper and used that as the base for the beautiful Stamplorations butterflies. I inked up my Forest Foliage stencil and added another sentiment from Hope Blooms:
I shall link this up at the Cutplorations challenge where the May theme is Wings and Things. There are lots of fun things going on over at Stamplorations this month and they have some fab new products.....

I shall link this card up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where the theme is Animal Magic.
I inked through the stencil with Lucky Clover distress oxide and then moved the stencil before inking through it with Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide. I love the geometric design that it creates! The sentiment is from Block Sentiments II.

Seahorse
Hello!
I find seahorses fascinating and wanted to make a card featuring a seahorse stencil that I have listed in my Folksy shop. This is what I made:
I had a spare background left over from mopping up spray inks that I had been using with my Messy Dots stencil and decided that it looked a bit like an underwater scene. I sprayed through the seahorse stencil in a variety of blue sprays. There was a bit of leakage under the stencil which I simply dabbed over with white acrylic paint once dry. I also dabbed through the Messy Dot stencil with the white paint over the seahorse. I stamped and embossed some seaweed and fish from Visible Image and added a fun sentiment from Lisa Horton along with a few circle stamps in black. I inked round the edge of the card panel to give the scene a bit of definition.
This isn't a very CAS card but I like how it turned out :)
I shall link up at Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is Time and at Simon's Wednesday Challenge which is Animal Magic.
Thank you for visiting!

I have simply inked through the stencil with distress oxides and die cut a central panel coloured with the same inks. The sentiment is from a previous Simply Said set.
On this card I went for more autumnal shades and layered the leaves over the lattice stencil. I added a dragonfly which I had gold embossed on vellum (I think it was free with a magazine) and a sentiment from Originally Organic.
These leaves work perfectly either as a focal point or finishing touch on card designs.
The rest of the DT have great inspiration to share and you can find out what they have made with the sentiments and leaves over on the Uniko blog.
Thank you for stopping by - I shall be back tomorrow with another new Uniko design to share with you.
