New Stamps Available!

Hello!

We finally have the 5 new stamp sets available to purchase in my online store - www.funkyfossil.co.uk AND there is 10% off everything in store this weekend when you use the code FUNKY10 at checkout :)

Here are one or two more cards that I made with images from the new release:

I masked a circle and stamped the trees through the aperture to create a background for these two woodland cuties.  I shall link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where the theme is CAS.

Here I simply coloured and stacked the Wild Things on top of each other and combined them with the Banners and Bunting stencil and Random Rectangles stencil.

I stamped a loose wreath around the sentiment from Fa La La.  I shall link up at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge where anything goes without the optional twist of jingle bells.

Remember that there is also a giveaway running this weekend which you can take part in by commenting on this blogpost and telling me what your favourite set from the release is.  The giveaway closes at midnight on Monday, 26 August.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wild Things - new stamp set

Hello!

I am going to be sharing some cards with my new stamps every day this week leading up to their release on Saturday, 24 August at 9am (UK time).  There are 5 new sets in this release and I am very excited about them.  I think they cover all styles from cute to folksy to mixed media - because I love them all!

First up are the Wild Things which feature illustrations by Kimma Parish from Le Petit Market.  I love her quirky, doodly style!  This set goes on safari with a lion, elephant and giraffe being the main elements with a mix and match sentiment.

Here is the whole crew.  They are easy to mask as the outlines are relatively simple to cut.  Don't you just love the mane on that lion?!  I shall link this up at The Male Room Challenge where the team is celebrating 6 amazing years AND I am the sponsor :)

Here is the lion again - I have combined him with my new wavy dots stencil in the background.

I hope you like this new A6 stamp set.  I couldn't stop playing with it so have lots more ideas to share with you over the course of the next week!

See you tomorrow with another new stamp set :)

LIM #402

Hello!

We are back with another fortnightly challenge at Less is More!  As the sponsor for August I get to play along as Guest Designer again and it is a challenge right up my street - use a stencil BUT also a one layer card :)

You can use stencils and keep your design CAS.  Here are a few examples:

I inked through my Beauty in Profile stencil in Aged Mahogany, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar distress oxides and then added touches from my Micro Dots stencil in the same colours to create a layered look.  The sentiment is from my Beautiful Inside and Out stamp set.

On my next card I used my new Leo stencil with Salty Ocean, Crushed Olive and Mustard Seed distress inks.  The sentiment is from my soon to be released Wild Things stamp set.

These were both super simple and quick to make!

I hope you get out your stencils to play along with us.  Check out more inspiration from the amazing DT.

Thanks for stopping by,
