This week we are celebrating our 300th challenge at Less is More! As a result the theme is very apt - we are looking for designs which are related to Celebrations or Festivals :)
I have come up with a couple of simple celebration cards which I can add to my stash for lots of occasions:
I silver embossed the sentiment from Mama Elephant and combined it with a silver/grey patterned paper that is slightly ombre. A few die cut stars in silver paper finish it off.
Next up I used a stamp from Altenew's Birthday Bash set and paper pieced with some mint green paper. The sequins are die cuts from Mama Elephant and the die cut sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
How will you celebrate with us?! The rest of the DT have more fab inspiration over at Less is More....and we are joined this week by the lovely Julie Beech from Crafted by Jules.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Two fantastic celebratory cards Sarah, you can't beat all the silver glamour and bold sentiment of the first one but then I'm just having a good old giggle at the party horn on your second card. It looks perfect paper pieced, gorgeous colours and die-cut sequins too - that's patience for you. Have a great weekend. x
ReplyDeleteThe elegance of your first card is wonderful Sarah, and that slightly ombré paper is lush! It's such a great sentiment on that card. I adore your party popper image - it is so cute. It actually looks like the sequins are flying out as it unrolls. Fab colour combo on that card. xx
ReplyDeleteOhhhh... silver chevrons <3 LOVE that card with its stylish colour and design. Just, wow! And the second card with the party horn is fabulous. The paper piecing is so precise and I love the cool, fresh colours and "exploding" sequins. Both cards are absolutely gorgeous! Have a super weekend x
ReplyDeleteAlways good to have some cards as fab as these in your stash for those special occasions.
ReplyDeleteReally love the silver chevrons, so classy.
Thanks for having me GD this week. :)
Perfect cards for the challenge. Terrific inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThese are great Sarah, that blower one is hilarious!

Deliciously crisp and CAS, Sarah ... and wonderfully shimmery ... fabulous celebratory cards! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI love monochrome designs and your silver/grey card is fabulous. The ombre effect looks great behind your focal sentiment. And your paper piecing looks faultless...now there's something I've not done for a while! Another super CAS design too xx
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Sarah and thanks for the visit and kind words.
