A quick post from me with some cards that I made inspired by this week's cue card over at CASology - Square. I love geometric designs and had lots of fun playing along.
I think this is my fave of the 3 cards that I made. The squares were die cut from a piece of cardstock blended with distress inks and offset on some black squares to give a 3D look. The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps (no longer available). I can imagine using this design in lots of different colours for men's cards.
I will also link up for a second time at Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes.
Using the same Memory Box die, I cut the pattern out of a white card panel and popped it over a piece of card blended with distress inks. Simple and CAS!
This final card features those same squares tumbling across the front with a die cut sentiment from Mama Elephant.
I hope you like my square cards :)
Thanks for stopping by,
Sarah x
Sarah, I love all three cards! Specially the 1st one - a real 3D effect and so CAS. - Sweet Kobylkin
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah!! now why has it been so long since I've visited? I LOve every version of your hip, but square, cards!!!

I love them all, Sarah! I'm pretty much a control person (yes, can you believe it!), so I should like the first and second ones best, but I have to say that free-spirited, free-flowing, tumbling third one made me really smile! Very creative designs!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteYour favorite is my favorite; it is a simple card to make, but the idea is superb! Hugs, Gerrina
