I have had fun playing with a new stencil today - using different techniques and media can create so many different looks with a single design. The stencil is called Shooting Stars and this is what I have made with it:
I dabbed through the stencil with flitterglu and used silver gilding flakes to bring out the trail of stars. The silver embossed sentiment is from Hero Arts and I added one of my mdf star embellishments at the top of the card having used silver embossing powder on it. The card is a blue/black, by the way - it looks black on the screen.....I shall link it up at Less is More where the challenge is to 'bring something back' as my gilding flakes have been very neglected over the past few years. In fact, I had to buy some more glue as it had dried up :)
On this card I used Tonic Nuvo gold glitter paste through the stencil along with a sentiment from MFT. I shall link this card up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where we are adding texture.
Here, I simply inked through the stencil with various shades of distress oxide and combined it with a lovely large sentiment from Uniko. I shall link up at CASology where the cue card is Believe.
I hope you like this new stencil which is available for sale in my Folksy store.
Thanks for stopping by,
