Fancy Trellis Stencil

Hello!

Are you getting ready for the easter weekend?  It should be nice and warm here in the UK (for a change) so I can't wait to have a break and enjoy some sunshine :)  Today I have a couple of cards to share with you which feature a new stencil - Fancy Trellis.

I have been quite soft and delicate on my first card to play along at Less is More where the theme is to use subtle colours:

I inked the stencil up with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and used it behind a circle aperture.  The die cut butterfly is from Concord and 9th and the sentiment is from Paper Smooches.  I shall also link up at Happy Little Stamper's die challenge where anything goes.

On my second card I inked the stencil through a circle aperture with Crushed Olive distress oxide and added a touch of shading around the edges of the circle.  I used my Boho Blooms stamp for the little cluster of flowers and a sentiment from Catherine Pooler.

I shall link up at Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is Beautiful Blooms and at Inkspirational where the current challenge is to pop it up.  The cluster of flowers is popped up on foam pads to provide a bit of contrast to the trellis background.

The stencil and stamps are available in my store - www.funkyfossil.co.uk

Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah x
