Day of the Month Card Club
Hello!
Day of the Month Card Club is celebrating its first birthday! I love the idea behind the challenge and this month the theme is National Puppy Day so lots of opportunities to feature adorable furry friends on our card designs!
Funky Fossil is one of the sponsors celebrating the challenge's first birthday and this is the card that I made to play along:
Of course, I had to use our Pugs and Hugs set for this challenge! I coloured him in polychromos and added our Splatter stencil in the background of this CAS design.
I hope that you like it and take time to play along at Day of the Month. The challenge is open until 31 March so there is plenty of time to get involved and win a prize!
Here are the products that I used to make this card:

Pug Love
Hello!
Happy Valentine's Day :) I thought that I would share a card that I have made with our adorable pug stamps. He is looking for love....
I inked up our Heartlines stencil in ombre shades of blue and used our Let's Talk stencil to create the little speech bubble.
I shall link up at The Male Room Challenge where the theme is love and at Addicted to CAS where we are using ombre techniques.
We are having a valentine weekend sale in store this weekend with 15% off everything when you use the code HEART15 at checkout.

All loved up!
Hello!
The build up to Valentine's day must have got to me this year as I have added a few more heart based stencils to the shop this week and have made the following cards with them....
First up I used our new Heart Lines stencil with That's Crafty Texture Paste (which we also sell in store now too!) on kraft card. I simply added one of the cute pugs from Pugs and Hugs and a punny sentiment :) I shall link up at Time Out where we are being Affectionate and at Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is Loved Up.
On my next card I have used our new Quirky Owls stamp set along with the new Sweet Hearts stencil. I sprayed through the stencil with That's Crafty Flat Matte Spray in Rose. It is a lovely colour.

I have made a couple of cards with the cute Pug from our Pugs and Hugs stamp set and Coffee Bean Background stencil:
Here our pug is nestled in a teacup and I went with a pink coffee bean background! These illustrations are by Kimma Parish from Le Petite Market.
Here I layered up the coffee bean stencil in shades of brown at the bottom of the card. Stamped the put and then masked him before using our Splatters stencil. He is coloured with pencils. The fab sentiment is from Altenew.
I hope you like these fun designs. Please leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning £15 credit to use at Funky Fossil!
Enjoy the rest of your hopping,

AAA Card Challenge
Hello!
I was inspired by the CAS sketch at AAA Cards to make a card featuring the cute pug from my Pugs and Hugs stamp set. I don't usually do very well with sketches but this one is super easy to work with and there is an optional twist of animals....
I simply masked off a strip of the card base and lightly inked with Tumbled Glass distress oxide before overlaying the coffee bean background stencil over the top. The little pug has been watercoloured.
I shall also link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where we are using stamps on our cards in celebration of Stamptember.
Here are the products that I used:
It is a quick one from me today - thanks for stopping by!

New Stamps Now Available!
Hello!
I am popping in a bit later than planned to let you know that my new stamps are now available at www.funkyfossil.co.uk :) There are 4 sets in the release and they range from cute and quirky to elegant and detailed. I have been lucky enough to work with some fab illustrators - Maggie Molloy and Kimma Parish - in bringing these designs to you in stamp form and I have had so much fun creating with them over the past week or so.
Here are a few more cards that I have made with them in addition to the inspiration that I have been sharing all week.

I love this happy whale! He is watercoloured here and combined with my Make a Splash stencil. I shall link this fella up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes! I shall also link up for a second time at Seize the Birthday Challenge although without the optional twist.
I decided to take a snap of this cute pug and put the polaroid on to cork to create the look of a pinboard. I shall add this card to Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is to Frame It.
These elegant blooms from Beautiful Inside and Out are very versatile - whether you want to colour them or use them as outline stamps. I love the mix and match sentiments too!
I paired this beautiful butterfly with my Brick Wall stencil. It is a gorgeous image to colour :)
Here are the new stamp sets:
Thank you for stopping by and for all of your encouragement and lovely comments this week x
