Uniko have a fab new release of stamps and stencil designs due to go live on 12 May. So that means we have a week of posts from the DT sharing what we have made with the designs! Today we are featuring the Natures Treasures Stencil and Block Sentiments II. My cards feature the lovely leaves from Natures Treasures:
I have simply inked through the stencil with distress oxides and die cut a central panel coloured with the same inks. The sentiment is from a previous Simply Said set.
On this card I went for more autumnal shades and layered the leaves over the lattice stencil. I added a dragonfly which I had gold embossed on vellum (I think it was free with a magazine) and a sentiment from Originally Organic.
These leaves work perfectly either as a focal point or finishing touch on card designs.
The rest of the DT have great inspiration to share and you can find out what they have made with the sentiments and leaves over on the Uniko blog.
Thank you for stopping by - I shall be back tomorrow with another new Uniko design to share with you.

LOVE! You never cease to amaze me with your use of stencils. Your colour choice and superb ink blending on the first is FAB and I really like the sentiment panel too. Your pairing of the leaves with the Lattice stencil is a wonderful and inspiring idea too. Thank you so much for this beautiful showcase. Hugs Bev x

I really like the lovely blended colours on your first card and such a nice sentiment too. However, I think your second card is stunning - the way the stencils work together and that lovely gold dragonfly. Fabulous work. Deborah x

Really rocking those stencils Sarah, but then they seem to be a bit of a passion with you at the moment. Could do with some lessons as I find them really tricky. Wish you lived a bit closer!
ReplyDeleteTotally yummy Sarah! I just love how seamlessly you manage to combine colours on your stencilled projects. Gorgeous combo and super striking sentiment panel to the first one. I'd never have thought of teaming the leaves with the lattice but another brilliant showcase too. See you next week x
ReplyDeleteGreat to see 2 quite different cards with the same stencil. I love your colour choices & admire your fab blending!! X
