Dodecagram

Hello!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend....it is rainy and dull here but we aren't far from Easter break so that is keeping us going :)

This is just a short post with a card that I have made for the March challenge over at Altenew.  It was the perfect excuse to break out the (new to me) Dodecagram stamps:

I white embossed the shapes and watercoloured them with distress inks - I love the soft effect it gives combined with the geometric shapes.  In particular I was inspired by this challenge photo:

I will also make this my last entry in to Darnell's NBUS challenge as this is first time using these stamps and at Simon's Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by :)

  3. OOoooo! This is soooo pretty! It definitely achieves such a great stained glass-esque effect. I really like the cut of the overlay panel.

  4. Dodecagrams are new to me, and WOW...you're showcased them beautifully! You've captured the 'glass' effect beautifully with your varied hues (or is it tints?) of the inks you've chosen. Soooo pretty!

  9. Not only is your card positively stunning and beautifully colored, Sarah, but I learned a new word! I had to go off and ask Mrs. Google (Mr. Google was fishing, if you can believe it!) what a dodieheckagram was! Thank you for that! I thought it was really interesting. And thank you so much for playing for the third time in my NBUS Challenge #4!! Hugs, Darnell
