AAA Birthday Challenge

Well we are finally at the last challenge of a long and difficult year.  I hope that you have found playing along with us at AAA Birthday Challenge to be a fun way to stay creative!  The theme for our December challenge is Twinkle so lots of opportunity to fill your December birthday cardmaking with sparkle.  And we have two $15 credits from the amazing Joy Clair to spend on digital products :)

I have gone for a very clean and simple birthday card using the star cluster and a sentiment from our recently released Space Cadet stamp set.

I simply heat embossed the stars on to dark blue cardstock using Wow! Silver Embossing Glitter and placed a die cut star aperture over the top.  The sentiment is heat embossed in silver and the focal panel is matted on to some matte silver cardstock.

The rest of the DT have got lots of creative ways of using the challenge theme to share with you over at AAA Birthday.  I love seeing how everyone has a different take on the theme!

Sadly this will be my last DT chard for AAA Birthday.  Things are busy with my little business and I can't give the challenge the attention that it deserves.  I want to thank the amazing Jane who does a fab job of coordinating the challenge and all of the lovely DT for their inspiration over the past year.  I have had lots of fun and hope to still be able to play along whenever I can.

Thanks for stopping by!

Now that the weather is turning chilly here in the UK, I like nothing better than to hug a warm mug - although mine is more likely to be filled with hot chocolate:)  So I decided to make a couple of cards featuring our Coffee Cup stencil:

I stamped our new Hello Gorgeous flower stamp in to the stencil aperture and coloured with pencils to create this card.  The sentiment is from our Musings stamp set.

On this card I stamped images from our new Musings stamp set in to the aperture and used our matching Alpha Numeric stencil around the edges.  The sentiment is from My Favourite Things.

I hope you like these coffee cup cards!

Check our our coffee collection in store to get 20% off when you use the code WINTER20 and remember to take part to be in with a chance of winning £25 credit.

AAA Birthday Challenge

We are here with the start of the AAA Birthday Challenge for October and it is a fab photo inspiration this month full of beautiful colours and autumnal imagery....

Simply create a birthday card which is inspired by some aspect of this picture to play along with us!

I decided to create a card based on the pumpkin tucked at the back and used our pumpkin trio stencil to make this:

I simply inked through the stencil and added some pencil shading before adding some gold splatters.

I hope that you like it and check out the rest of ideas from the DT - there are so many directions that you can go in with this photo!

You have until 1 November to join in.

September Stamp Release - Introducing Silly Snowmen

I am always excited (and a bit nervous) to share our new stamps with you :)  We have five fab new stamp sets which will be available to buy from Saturday this week and I will be sharing a new set with you each day this week.  Today's stamp set is christmas themed and features fun snowmen illustrations by Natalya Skripko.

Here are a couple of cards that I have made with the set:

Of course I had to put one of the snowmen in our snowglobe stencil and make a shaker card!  The scandi snowflakes are in the background and one of our mdf snowflake embellishments was added to complete the design.

I shall link this card up at Time Out where the theme is Season :)

I combined each of our snowmen with our Let It Snow paper pad to create this slimline card.

I hope you like these cheeky characters!  They are sure to make you smile :)  The lovely DT also have been busy making designs with the new stamps - check out their inspiration on their blogs, insta and Facebook:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope that you come back tomorrow when I will have another set to show you.

Have a great day!

AAA Birthday Challenge #17

It is time for our next monthly challenge over at AAA Birthday!  This month's challenge theme is lots of fun ......

As we are in September and it feels as if autumn is just around the corner I decided to create an autumnal card with our Quick Brown Fox stamp set and new Pumpkin Trio stencil.

I simply stamped and masked the fox before inking up the large pumpkin.  The foliage comes from our Meadow Flowers stamp set.

What critters will you use to create birthday cards this month?  The fab DT over at AAA Birthday Challenge have lots of inspiration to get you started.

I will also link up at Time Out where the theme is Season - I haven't played along for ages but this autumnal card works so well :)

Thanks for stopping by,

I have gone for the top line - Bright, Embossing and Masculine to make this card:

I have used our new Gamer Stamp set - heat embossing the headphones, along with our Distressed Elements stamps and Splatters stencil.  I went with a colour scheme of Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Mermaid Lagoon to keep the card zingy!

Which of the rows will you go for to create your birthday card this month?

August Release Day!

Finally, our five new stamp sets are available to purchase from :)  I hope that you have been enjoying the introduction posts this week and have seen something that appeals to you.  Four of our sets are christmas themed with Gamer being our only non-festive set in this release.  I don't usually make christmas cards this early in the year but I have to admit that I am really enjoying working with these designs and keep thinking of new ideas :)

Here are a few more makes with the new stamp sets:

The Gamer set is so much fun to use and great for all those teens/adult gamers in our lives.  I have used the set with our new Circular stencil here.

I used our Filigree Flakes and Festive Phrases stamp sets with our Snow Globe stencil which I have used as a shaker template.

I have combined our Filigree Flakes with our Snow Flurry stencil and mdf snowflake embellishments.  The panel is matted on to the new Let It Snow paper pad!

I have used one of our small round MDF plaques here with a gelli printed paper, Snow Flurry stencil, MDF Snowflake embellishment and one of the lovely Christmas Characters!

Finally, I have foiled the Elegant Ornaments with Wow Fab Foil and Bonding Powder.

Elegant or whimsical, hopefully there are stamps for all tastes here and don't forget the fab Let It Snow paper pad!

The DT have been amazing all week and have some final inspiration to share with you today.  Check them out here....

Thank you for sticking with me through this long post.  You can check out each of the new sets in detail at!

August Release - Festive Phrases

I am back with our final stamp set from the new release which will be available to buy from tomorrow.  It is an absolute essential set which you will already have seen pop up on a number of our designs this week!  Festive Phrases is an A5 set packed full of christmas greetings and sentiments in a range of styles and sizes.  Some of them are big enough to be a fun focal point on your cards which is perfect for making quick christmas cards with impact.

Here are a few examples:

When combined with our new Let it Snow papers, these sentiments can make quick and simple christmas cards.  I combined it here with a few of our mdf snowflake embellishments.

I white heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and placed it behind one of our fabulous girls from She is Fierce.  I added the holly from our Christmas Characters to her hair!  The Scandi Snowflakes were clear heat embossed in the background.

I simply put gold glitter paste through our large Polka Dots stencil for the background and combined it with one of the large sentiments.

Here is the set:

This is a super versatile set - I hope that you like it!  The rest of the DT also have wonderful festive projects to share with you so please check out their blogs and insta posts.

Here is what I mean:

I used the ornaments with gilding flakes across the front of a slimline card.  The flakes picked up the lovely detail.

I white heat embossed the star ornament on to kraft for a simple rustic look.

I gold heat embossed the baubles on to red card and placed them over a stencilled background using our pine needles stencil.

Introducing our August Stamp Release - Filigree Flakes

I am back for the second day of our introductions to the five new stamp sets that we will be releasing on Saturday :)  Now we are going to start getting festive - even though it is July, are you ready for some snowfall??  Our Filigree Flakes stamp set features a range of elegant and delicate snowflakes - I love using them as a focal point or an accent on lots of designs.

We also have a new paper pad to accompany our christmas stamps - Let it Snow is a contemporary range of christmas themed papers in gorgeous teals, aquas, pinks and mustards.  I really love them and hope that you will too :)

Let me share some examples:

I simply stamped a snowflake wreath in bright non-traditional christmas colours.

I melted some ultra thick embossing powder and stamped the snowflake in to it and dusted with perfect pearls to get the gold shimmer.  This was adhered to a background brayered with acrylic paints and background stencilling.

I gold heat embossed the snowflakes over some of the patterned paper and added a sentiment from another set in the release.

Here are the new products:

The rest of the DT have wonderful snowy inspiration to share with you today too!

I hope that you will stop by again tomorrow when I have another christmas stamp set to introduce :)

Introducing our August Stamp Release - Day 1: Gamer

I always love being able to share new stamp designs with you and we have a fab release coming out on 1 August.  It is mainly Christmas designs but today's set isn't :)  Gamer is an A6 stamp set packed with gaming related images and sentiments including space invaders!  They are perfect for those boys/girls who love their online games.  As the mum of two teenage boys I know that they will be very useful for me!  Also the headphones are perfect for music lovers too :)

Here are a couple of examples of the types of thing you can make with this fab set:

I stamped the icons from the set into some of the apertures from our Blockade stencil and added a heat embossed controller on foam tape. Quick and easy but the ink blending on the stencil adds some visual depth.

I went grungy for this design using a gelli printed background (using our Number Scramble mask).  I stamped the headphones and coloured them with a bit of white paint to give them definition against the background.  I stamped images from our Distressed Elements stamp set round the outside in grey ink.

Grungy or CAS this stamp set can be used in so many different ways....

I hope that you like it!

The rest of the DT have been working their magic with this set too:

Stop by tomorrow when things will be getting a whole lot more festive :)
