Less Is More #297

Hello!

The theme at Less is More this week is Dreams - oh, and it is one layer week as well :)

Here is what I made:

Firstly I inked through a Clarity stencil of a dreamcatcher and added a Clarity sentiment.  A few splatters finished this simple design.

For my second card I inked up this stamp (I think it might be from Prima?) and embossed it in bronze embossing powder.  I inked through a square mask to create a frame and added a watch embellishment.

I hope you like these simple cards!  Check out the inspiration from the rest of the DT over at Less is More.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. You do one layer cards so well, Sarah. I love that dream catcher design, the blue and grey look great and your splatters are so perfectly placed. Love the embossing in bronze and the inked square too, you have some great stash! xx

  2. The dreamcatcher is perfect! I love the softly inked colours and sentiment. Fab second card too with that awesome stamp, and a great idea to ink a square round it which really draws the eye in. Super cards! Have a great weekend! x

  3. Wonderful cards again Sarah. The super-soft inking through the stencil and the crisp embossing on that funky image are such contrasts in style and really showcase the variety you can get from one layer cards. Beautiful placement on your first card and the inked frame on the second is a real winner. Terrific inspiration. xx

  6. Now have you been out and purchased that dream catcher stencil just for this challenge? It's' awesome and just perfectly executed for this challenge Sarah, always love your subtle blending through stencils. AND what a striking and powerful image on that second card. Equally perfect for the challenge and bursting with style. Have a great week and thanks for your comments. Sarah x

  11. It amazes me that some cardmakers have just the perfect stamp/stencil for any situation. Your dreamcatcher is a fabulous way to go with the challenge as is the other image, Sarah.
