Blessed

Hello!

I love the current theme at Less is More where we are focusing our designs in a triangle to create our CAS cards....

I masked a triangle on my card front and used our Into the Wild and Birds in Flight stencils to create the following scene:

I used some Jane Davenport washi and a Tim Holtz Ideology sticker.

I shall also link up at Addicted to CAS where the code word is Blessed and at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes.

These are the stencils that I used:

CAS Christmas

Hello!

I hope that your week is going well :)  I found out about a new challenge this week and wanted to play along.  It is called Day of the Month Card Club and goes live on the 7th of every month.  The challenge uses different celebrations/events as their theme which is a great idea :)  The theme for November has been inspired by 'Look for Circles' day!!

I decided to use my new stencil - Ornamental - for this CAS card as one of the baubles is circular.

I used Nuvo Glacier Paste in Quicksilver on navy cardstock and added a few gems.  The sentiment is from MFT and I simply added a bit of silver mirri card.

Unser Logo zum Mitnehmen! / Our logo to take away!

I shall link up at the current Anything Goes challenge at Simon's Wednesday Challenge and for a third time at Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge where the theme is Tis The Season.

Here is the stencil that I used:

Week in Review

Hello!

Life has been so busy over the past few weeks that I haven't had much time to share some of my cards here on the blog so I have a few pics below....

First up is a card that I have made with our new Swallows stencil:

I used a discarded piece of copy paper that I had used to take excess paint off my brayer as the background and sponged dark blue acrylic paint through the stencil.  I also added a few elements of the micro dots stencil around the edges.  The sentiment is by Stamplorations.  I shall link up at Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is to recycle it.

Next up is a card that I made for the current challenge at Time Out where the theme is Celebrations (with the optional twist of one layer).  I used the butterflies from our Abstract Beauty stamp set to create the background and combined it with a Concord and 9th butterfly and Mama Elephant sentiment.

Finally, a card that I have made with our new Ornamental stencil and Cosmic Shimmer luna paste.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink

I shall link up at Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge which, this month, is Tis the Season.

Here are the products that I have used on these cards:

Sponsoring AAA Card Challenge

Hello!

I love the CAS card challenges that AAA Cards set for us and I am delighted to say that I am sponsoring the current challenge:

I decided to use the sweet angel from our Folksy Christmas set and added our sunray stencil behind her.  Using sparkle pens to watercolour the image has given it some shimmer :)

The prize is £15 credit for our store www.funkyfossil.co.uk!

As it is a one layer card I shall also link up at Inkspirational.

I hope you like the card.  These are the products that I used:

Snowy Window

Hello!

I have made a CAS card using the Festive Penguins stamp set and Snow Flurry stencil

I simply created a distress oxide background and went over the snow flurry stencil with holographic texture paste from That's Crafty (it's fab!).  I coloured the penguin and positioned him behind the die cut window.  The washi tape at the bottom is red foil....despite looking black in the photo :)

I shall link up at Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge where the optional twist is Tis the Season and at their Christmas challenge where Anything Goes with the optional twist of Bah Humbug.  I will also link up at the fab Christmas Kickstart Challenge where our theme is Snow.  At the CAS Christmas Card Challenge the theme is warm and cozy so I will join in as I think that this little penguin looks all wrapped up for the snowy weather!

Here are the products that I used on this card....

CAS card

Hello!

I wanted to make a CAS card in order to play along with a few of my fave challenges.  At AAA Cards we are maximising the white space with an optional twist of geometric and Inkspirational have set the challenge of creating a one layer card:

I used our new Plant a Garden stamp set on this card.  I simply paper pieced the wellington boots (with a geometric paper) and stamped the lavender behind it.

I shall also link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes.

Here is the stamp set that I used:

I hope you like it :)

I simply stamped and masked the coffee cup from Folksy Christmas and watercoloured with distress inks to create a coffee rainbow!  The sentiment is from MFT.

AAA Birthday Challenge

Hello!

How can we be in November already?!  The theme for our challenge over at AAA Birthday this month is to feature a number on your design.

I decided to get the sweet pug from the Pugs and Hugs stamp set dressed up for a birthday party!  I combined him with the Say What? and Confetti Sprinkles stencils....

2019 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Hello!

I am super excited to be one of the sponsors for the ever awesome Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - so many fab crafters and companies getting together :)

I have £15 credit to giveaway to spend in store at Funky Fossil :)

Also to celebrate all of the lovely crafters who join in this blog hop event, there is a 15% discount on everything in my store when you use the code COFFEE15 at checkout for the duration of the hop.  If you haven't visited Funky Fossil before it would be great if you could check out the large range of stencils and stamps that we have to offer!

I have made a couple of cards with the cute Pug from our Pugs and Hugs stamp set and Coffee Bean Background stencil:

Here our pug is nestled in a teacup and I went with a pink coffee bean background!  These illustrations are by Kimma Parish from Le Petite Market.

Here I layered up the coffee bean stencil in shades of brown at the bottom of the card.  Stamped the put and then masked him before using our Splatters stencil.  He is coloured with pencils.  The fab sentiment is from Altenew.

I hope you like these fun designs.  Please leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning £15 credit to use at Funky Fossil!

Enjoy the rest of your hopping,

Sarah x
