Introducing Flower Power #7

Hello!

At last I can share with you some cards that I have made with the latest line of Uniko Studio's fabulous 'flower power' series.  These latest flowers are wonderfully simple and can be used for both fun and elegant designs!

Here are a few of the cards that I have made with them:

I stamped the flowers randomly in soft blue and gold on a piece of card and then die cut the numbers from it.  I stacked them up on a few layers to give them a bit more substance.  I added a trail of flowers either side of the heart including a few flowers cut out of vellum.

The set includes anniversary and wedding sentiments so I was inspired to make cards for those occasions.  I added a cluster of the flowers in vellum and red on the die cut heart for the ruby wedding anniversary card.

Here is the Flower Power #7 set that Bev has designed:

The rest of the DT have more great designs showcasing these stamps.  I hope you will come by tomorrow when I am sharing cards with the other stamps in Uniko Studio's May release!

The two sets are released on 11 May and we will be having a blog hop to celebrate.  Remember there are prizes and giveaways during the pre-release celebration from 7-10 May with random prizes and the release day blog hop will give you chance to win the release :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Time Out Reminder

Hello!

Do you remember the photo inspiration from our current challenge over at Time Out?  You still have a week to play along and here is my second take on the photo:

As you can see, I was inspired by the bold and bright floral wall and combined it with just a touch of dark wood to reflect the flooring.  Here is the photo:

I could make cards based on this photo all day but it is over to you now!

Before you get started there is more inspiration from the fab DT over at Time Out and from our wonderful guest designer, Joyce from Cards By The Sea.

Thanks for stopping by - I really appreciate your visits.

Birthday Numbers

Hello!

Just a quick card to share today made using the fabulous Texturised Big Numbers Stamplorations stamp.

I scribbled and blended some gelatos on to some watercolour card and then white embossed the numbers over that. I die cut some stars from the spare card and added the sentiment.  Bright and fun!

I will link up at the open ended Anything Goes Challenge over at Stamplorations and the current Anything Goes Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Time Out Challenge #30

Hello!

Happy Thursday to you and welcome to our next challenge over at Time Out :)  We are back to a fabulous photo inspiration:

There are so many lovely elements to this photo - the stripes, colours and gorgeous bold florals!  Here is what I came up with:

I used a Papertrey Ink floral stamp set in similar colours to the mural and combined it with some stripy paper from Avery Elle which echoes the bedspread.  The touches of black are intended to reflect the dark furniture in the photo.

For this challenge we have the talented Joyce from Cards By The Sea.  I am a huge fan of Joyce's CAS style and love seeing the weekly inspiration that she provides for us over at CASology.  Her blog is a wonderful place to visit :) The rest of the fab Time Out DT also have great inspiration for you to get started with this challenge - it is always fascinating to see how everyone creates something different based on the same image!  I look forward to seeing what you create too....

I will also link up at the Anything Goes Challenge at Simon's Wednesday Challenge.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by.  I do appreciate your visits and comments :)

Blooming Tag

Hello!

Just a quick post with a second tag card for Less Is More.  I recently made a number of tags while playing with my new Minc so I have a range of foiled sentiment tags :)  It is lots of fun....I just need to buy more foil!

I white embossed two of the beautiful blooms from Uniko on to vellum and coloured behind with a promarker.  I used Uniko's lattice stamp on the card base in Memento's Teal Zeal and added a few die cut leaves from Papertrey Ink.  The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat printed on a laser printer and foiled in teal.

I will also link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge - Clean and Simple.

I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by,
