I am delighted to be back with a reminder card as GD for the current challenge at Time Out where we are using a gorgeous photo as our inspiration:
I really love the cut out detail on the white vase and decided to focus on that specific element in my card.
I went over my new Moroccan Star stencil with white gloss paste and was really pleased with the crisp finish against the dark blue card. I die cut a square from the same blue card and popped that up over the centre of the panel before adhering a die cut sentiment from Sizzix which picks out the yellow from the photo.
I hope you like this latest card and have the opportunity to play along with us at Time Out. The amazing DT have more inspiration to share over on the challenge blog.
As always, you can get this stencil in my Folksy shop :)
Thanks for stopping by,
And again a beautiful and inspirational card! So good to see you this week as guestdesigner at TIME OUT with this beauty! Hugs, GerrinaReplyDelete
Wow Sarah, the white embossing paste on top of blue card looks amazing! Such a stylish, graphic card with contemporary feel, I really love your take on the photo. Thanks again for gorgeous GD inspiration!ReplyDelete
Absolutely stunning, Sarah. Love how you dug deep for your inspiration with that beautiful pattern. Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer this week at Time Out.ReplyDelete
Cool, crisp and wonderfully graphic, Sarah ... love the contrast between the sharp lines in the background and the soft curves of the scripty sentiment! Thanks so much for inspiring our players as our Guest Designer at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)ReplyDelete
I can't believe how crisply and cleanly the embossing paste works with this awesome stencil, Sarah. Love the square, graphic design, the yellow border and sentiment... grea composition. Thanks so much for joining us as Guest Designer for this challenge!ReplyDelete
I recognise that card - it's currently sat on my windowsill! Do you know I thought you'd used a die - I can't believe it's one of your stencils. It really looks amazing. Looking forward to using mine - thank you so much!ReplyDelete
