Folk Birds on Kraft

Hello!

A couple of weeks ago I shared a card made using my new folk birds stencil in soft blue and red.  When I saw that the challenge at Inkspirational is to use kraft I decided to see what the stencil would look like against a different base colour.

I ran over the stencil with white gloss paste on kraft card and really like the effect!  I added some muted, rustic elements with grey corrugated card and twine to complete the design.

By way of contrast, here is the previous card that I shared with the folk birds:

I will also link up at Seize the Birthday although I haven't used the optional topping.

You can buy the folk birds stencil over at my shop: www.funkyfossil.co.uk

Thanks for stopping by :)

  1. Gorgeous! Love the neutral colors on the first and the pops of color on the second.

  3. How lovely! That stencil looks awesome against the kraft and I particularly like that "torn" effect. Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!

  4. Love both of these, but the white on kraft is very striking, isn't it? Beautiful stencil design. Thanks for linking up with us at Seize the Birthday!

  5. Both are fantastic but have to say the white against the kraft is very dynamic and that stencil is just perfection.

  6. Gloss paste? It really glows on the kraft, Sarah, but it's the rustic details I'm taken with. I love that torn corrugated accent.

  7. I especially love the combination of white with Kraft, even though Kraft works wit any color. Your card has a nice textured look, it’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Inkspirational!
