Watercolour Whales

Hello!

I had a piece of card on my desk that I had used to mop up some distress inks from my craft mat and decided to use it as a watery background for a couple of playful whales from my Whale of a Time stamp set.

I watercoloured and cut out each of the whales - they are a nice easy shape :)  I also added some inking through my Messy Rainbows stencil to add a bit more of a wavy feel to the watercolour background.

I shall link up at Simon's Monday Challenge where this week's theme is Life on the Ocean Waves.  I shall also link up at Seize the Birthday without the optional topping of sunshine and at Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge without the optional twist of wings.

Here is what I used to make the card:

Both the stencil and stamp set are available to purchase in my store - www.funkyfossil.co.uk

Thanks for stopping by,

  5. What a great background you created from leftover distress inks and adding the stencil "waves" sure added to the ocean feel. Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers - Watercolour challenge.
