A Burst of Colour

Hello!

I am just popping in with a few cards that I made over the Christmas break playing with the colour bursts that I was given as a gift.  I used them with a few of my lovely Clarity stencils and was pleased with the vibrant results:

This first card features one of Clarity's word chain words embossed in white on black and the second has a sentiment from Stamplorations.

I had held off getting the colour bursts for ages because I thought they would be too messy and unpredictable but they are a lot of fun!  Maybe my new year's card making resolution should be to loosen up a little :)

I shall link up at Clarity's Challenge which is Say It With Flowers - I hope the stencil is classed as flowers!  I will also play along with Simon's Wednesday Challenge for using my new colour bursts and at Simon's Monday's Challenge which is also Something New.  Finally I will also link up at Word Art Wednesday which is Anything Goes.

Thank you for stopping by - I appreciate your visits!

  11. Love the effect you have achieved with the stencils, I think 'Colorbursts' is a very appropriate name for these little bottles - my first set were put in a 'safe place' so I just had to invest in another! Thank you for joining in with the first Clarity Challenge of 2016 and best wishes! ;~}

  20. Both are wonderful! Great inking techniques...We are so blessed you joined our Challenge weeks ago and would love for you to join our new Challenge still ongoing at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with the inspiration of the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 which says, "But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. " Have a lovely week.
