Less is More #328

Hello!

Time has completely got away from me this week - work has been hectic and I haven't had time to make more than one card for this week's Less is More challenge :(  It is one layer card week and we are looking for designs which feature spots and stripes.

Our sponsor this month, Uniko, had the perfect stamp set for this challenge - Round in Circles - and this is what I came up with:

I stamped this using my new Tim Holtz Stamping Platform - I do like it :)  Hopefully it will give me crisp images and the ability to get even coverage.in the future and save lots of card blanks ending up in the bin!

I will also link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where the theme is Going Dotty.

I look forward to seeing your designs for this challenge.  Check out more great inspiration from the fabulous DT and our GD this week - the lovely Sue Blamey from Sue's Card Craft.

Thank you for stopping by today,

Sarah x

  2. I was itching to use that Circle BG set from Uniko this week but with both you and Nonni getting in there first it was back to the drawing board for me! Sorry life seems so hectic again and hope it's a bit easier this week. Wonderful use of colour and delightfully dotty and stripy! Looks like the stamping platform worked a treat! Enjoy your weekend. x

  3. Well, time may have got away from you Sarah but you certainly made a beautiful card! The layout is incredible and those stamps are brilliant. Love the way you varied the depth of each string of droplets and the two different thicknesses add interest. Super colour choice too. Here's hoping this coming week will be a little less hectic for you xx

  4. Glad to hear you are liking the stamp platform, I've bought one and it's waiting for me at Sandie's where I'll get my hands on it in June when I visit. :) I have the mini MISTI which I love, but I like the opportunity to keep your one layer cards open when stamping with this stamp platform + use very big pieces of card stock if you want. Your card in LIM colors is wonderful and I love the design, very inspiring for OLC, I have to pin this for future inspiration!

  5. Beautiful design and colours, Sarah, a perfect one layer card and just right for this challenge. I do hope things are a little less hectic for you this week. My DH very kindly bought me a stamping platform for my birthday, am looking forward to trying it out when my craftroom is more organised!

  13. You may only have one card this week but it's a fabulous one! I love the vertical stripes of circles and dots, such an effective design and the colours are great too. Change up the sentiment and colours and this could be a go to design for absolutely anything! I hope you find some relaxation time soon x
