Honey I Shrunk the Kit #3

Hello!

Shona, Hazel and I are back with our 3rd mini kit which the lovely Shona put together.  It is gorgeous with a fab combination of patterned papers and stamped images which has enabled me to make 4 cards :)

I die cut a heart out of the lovely patterned paper and combined it with these sweet bunnies which I lightly coloured with pencils and fussy cut out.  The kraft and aqua mats pick up the colours in the patterned paper.

I cut a frame from the patterned paper to make a shaker card.  I used an umbrella die cut from the kit but messed up the white card so used it as a template and hand cut a brolly from the patterned paper.  I die cut the sentiment out too.

I used the inside of the frame to create a little panel and combined it with this cute bird - he does look a bit sorry for himself!

This very simple card features a die cut flower from the kit which I coloured in and stuck on top of a lightly inked card base.  Shona even included enamel dots - my favourite embellishment!

I can't wait to see what Shona and Hazel have created with this kit:

I will link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

  1. These cards look AMAZING, Sarah!!! I adore how you matted the first one and softly coloured those bunnies. Your shaker frame looks brilliant! Need to try more shakers. That fuzzy fella looks like me when I wake up in the morning, and your CAS daisy is DEE-lightful! I had so much fun again! Ran out of time to make any more cards with the fab kit supplies unfortunately! I will put them to use, don't worry!

  2. Wow Sarah, you and Hazel have amazed me so much with your creations, both yours and Hazels cards leave my ones for dust!! I love those bunnies so much and love how you die-cut the paper into the heart with the kraft card base. Your shaker card is spectacular and love how you used the paper to frame it. And well done cutting another umbrella, you have incredible fussy cutting skills! Love how you picked up the aqua in the paper for your third card. The little chickie is a bit sad but looks beautiful in blue. And your last card is so colourful, really like how you brought that die-cut flower to life. Just love doing this kit and wonder what Hazel will have instore for us with the next one.....thank you so much for rocking my kit!!

  7. What a sweet kit you received, and I love all 4 cards you made. I love how you guys have adopted our 12 kits idea, and honestly, sometimes I think we should shrink our kits too.

  10. It looks like fun to all design cards from the same kit of materials. All your cards are wonderful, Sarah, and obviously your kit mates think so, too.
