Starry Stag

Hello!

I have been wanting to play along at Time Out all week but haven't had the chance until today.  The theme is Holiday and so I have used a couple of my stencils to create a christmas card:

I inked through the stag's head stencil with Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Black Soot distress oxides.  I then laid my shooting star stencil over the top and dabbed through with flitter glue and applied silver gilding flakes.  I stamped and silver embossed a sentiment from Altenew to complete the card.

I shall also link up at Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge where Anything Goes without the optional twist.

I hope you like this CAS christmas card and the stencils that I have used.  You can find them in my Folksy store.

Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah x

  2. I'm so in love with this stag stencil, it screams Christmas to me everytime I see it. Might have to get my hands on it before this Christmas arrives.... Blue and white is always my favourite colour combo and your stenciling is so perfectly and crisp. Such a cool idea too to lay the stars across the stag, adds a sparkly 'Christmassy' touch. You know I'm always so happy to see you at TIME OUT!
