Just stopping by with a simple card using a couple of my stencils - geo circle and floral lace heart:
The heart has been coloured using alcohol inks and then some of the ink has been lifted using alcohol lift ink through the floral lace stencil. The geo circle provides a frame for the heart.
I shall link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where the theme is Clean and Simple and at the fab new CAS Stencil Challenge where we are sponging through our stencils. I have sponged through the geo circle and then moved it slightly before sponging again to create a slightly layered look.
I hope you like the card and are inspired to play with your stencils this weekend :)
So pretty Sarah. I love the way you've sponged the background stencil in blue and then moved it slightly and sponged in pink. It creates such a pretty colour combination as well as adding depth. Great design! Your AI heart is so pretty with the floral lace stenciled design using AI lift! Beautiful card! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Stencil!ReplyDelete
A fantastic card Sarah, your heart looks lovely nestled on your sponged stencil background.. love how your moved the stencil and re-sponged with another shade. Thanks for sharing with CAS StencilReplyDelete
I do love alcohol ink at the moment and the colours and subtleness you have created with the stencil look really good. Thanks also for visiting me and leaving such a nice comment. xxReplyDelete
That heart is stunning, Sarah. Adding the shading to the geo stencil of the same color gives a lot of dimension.ReplyDelete
Such a beautiful and creative heart design using the alcohol ink lift technique with your floral lace stencil. Your geo die cut background was a perfect framing along with your sentiment filled with love. TFS Sarah and joining us at CAS Stencil Card Challenge. Hugs..NancyReplyDelete
