Coral and Blue

Hello!

I am stopping by with a quick post to share a card that I have made for the new challenge over at Less is More which is to make a CAS card using last year's pantone colour of the year (coral) and this year's (blue).  What a great idea!  Here is what I came up with:

I simply inked up a circle in Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide and overlaid our Butterfly Flurry stencil over the top and inked through with Blueprint Sketch and a touch of Chipped Sapphire.  I added a few white highlights with a posca pen and a sentiment from WPlus9.  I thought that rounding the corners would make my one layer card look a bit more special.

I shall also link up this card at Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge where the optional twist this month is wings.

This is the stencil that I used on today's card:

Thanks for stopping by,

  4. Now why didn't I think to use coral for the sun?! Great idea. Love this (and I could have made the exact same card as I have all of this in my stash! haha). Thanks for sharing with us at Less is More, and also for linking up at HLS CAS challenge, Anita xx
