I have a quick post with a few flowery creations that I made over the weekend. First up is a card for The Card Concept:
I love the colourful inspiration photo and decided to use some fresh and simple florals from Papertrey Ink to make a cheerful card intended to brighten someone's day! I combined them with a sentiment from CBS and my new set of Memory Box rectangle dies with a cute cross stitch edge. I reckon that this card is clean and layered in style.
Sticking with my bright and cheerful theme I was able to ink up my fab new floral stamp from Create A Smile:
This Botanical Love set is just gorgeous and I fell in love with this big bloom. I am not a very accomplished colourista but this gave me the chance to play with my Chameleon Pens. I have stamped the flower twice and layered it up for a bit of extra impact. I am pleased with how it turned out :)
I hope you are having a bright and happy week - hopefully my cards have made you smile!
Thanks for stopping by,
Sarah x

ReplyDeleteWOW! You've done an amazing job with all of your coloring, Sarah! Both cards are so pretty, and make me think of 'Spring'!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are fantastic! Love all of the colors on the first card and your coloring of the flower on the second is perfect :-) Thanks for playing along with us at The Card Concept!
ReplyDeleteYour first card is so cheerful and those stamps are so sweet. Your second card is amazing and just love the way you coloured the flower. I know your not confident with your colouring skills but I think its incredible that you got your flower to have such a beautiful highlight thru the petals, its very striking. Well done!!
ReplyDeleteSunny and bright and so deliciously spring like, Sarah ... seems you've mastered those Chameleons beautifully ... such great shading on that gorgeous yellow bloom! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty, Sarah! It's wonderful to see signs of spring here on your blog during these last long days of winter! Don't tell anyone (I said I wasn't going to buy any more schtuff!), but I just ordered the Chameleons. I am saving your beautiful card in my inspiration folder for when I get a chance to break them out! Thank you! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is amazing, Sarah! Swoooon!
