Time Out Challenge #29

Hello!

We are back with our next challenge at Time Out and it is a word inspiration:

You can't make a rainbow without a little rain

You can make a card inspired by any part of the phrase or the whole phrase.  Here is what I came up with:

When I saw this phrase I immediately thought of this stamp by Mama Elephant and combined it with dies from WPlus9.  All of the weather elements with the stitched detail are lots of fun.  I cut the rainbow banner out of patterned paper and popped it up.  Simple but bright and cheerful :)

I hope you will check out what the rest of the DT have created with this word inspiration including our Guest Designer, Michele Henderson from Crimson Owl Creations - her blog is so worth a visit!

I look forward to seeing how you are inspired.  I hope you will take Time Out to play along with us.

Thanks for stopping by :)

  2. How fun, Sarah ... such a happy scene with lovely layers and fab dimension! The 'rainbow' banner's a brilliant play on the word ... and I love how the scallop edges on the 'sky' are reminiscent of fluffy clouds! Anita :)
