Flowers in Spring

Hello!

I have a few floral cards to share today.  First up is a card made using my new Floral Beauty stencil which I have simply inked through:

I used a combination of Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral distress oxides and simply highlighted the flowers with black pearls.  The butterfly is punched from black glitter cardstock and the central panel uses black glitter cardstock too.  The sentiment is from Stamplorations.

I shall link this card up at Simon's Monday Challenge where the theme is Flower Power and at Addicted to Stamps where the theme is CAS.

I have also used sparkle pens to watercolour some Tim Holtz florals - they add a subtle shimmer to the image:

The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  I added some extra splatters to emphasise the watercolour look.  I shall link this card up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge where the theme this week is Anything Goes.

I hope you like these cards :)  Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah x

  2. Those coneflowers are one of my favorite stamps, Sarah, and you have colored them beautifully. Your stenciled girl is so lovely with the shading of the DOXs and the black pearls. Thanks for sharing her with us at Addicted to Stamps and More.
