Less Is More #268

Hello!

Another weekend has come around and we are back with our next challenge at Less Is More :)  This is a theme week and the theme is What's Outside Your Window?

This should be lots of fun!

We have lots of birds in the garden at the moment and that was an excuse to use my new set from Avery Elle:

I used watercolour pencils to lightly colour the image and combined it with a sentiment from Paper Smooches.

Continuing with the bird theme I also made this:

I die cut a Memory Box bird out of the white card panel and layered it up over some vintage text paper.  I used a sentiment from Stamplorations.

However, to be honest it seems to be raining most often when I look out of my window so I made this one layer card:

I inked through a Stamplorations stencil in Bluepring Sketch, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass distress inks and added a sentiment from Hero Arts.

I look forward to seeing the view from your window :)  Check out the fabulous inspiration from my LIM teamies too!

Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah x

  1. Great cards Sarah! #1 and #3 are so fabulous and fresh, and #2 is in my very favourite vintage tones... mmmmmmm! I know what you mean about the rain. Same here - a tantalising day of sunshine and warmth, followed by 2 weeks of drizzle! Come on May!!!

  2. we've had a couple of sunny days only 9 or 10 Celcsius but it felt so nice and warm and summerlike, and our allotment was buzzing with people. sadly it's overcast again so I can relate to your rain card ;-) all fab makes love the Avery Elle stampset

  3. Such a great set of cards Sarah. I adore the die cut bird in those neutral colours - it is just fab. The first one is a real cutie using a lovely stamp. And your graduated colour on the raindrops is perfection!
I hope you get lots of sun soon.

  4. Gorgeous cards all three of them and each so different. Pity about the rain but you made a fantastic card showcasing it. Especially love the second card with its lovely colour pallette
