Sunshine and clouds

Hello!

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend and, if in the UK, had a lovely Mothers Day!  I have spent the day with my sweet mum...it has been a wet day but we have crafted and laughed all day :)

I have made a card inspired by both Inkspirational where the cue is Clouds and at Less is More where the challenge theme is Shine a Light.  This is made with 2 stencils:

I will link up at Simon's Wednesday Challenge as well where Anything Goes.

I simply inked through clouds to create a cloudy sky and cut round the edge.  I popped the cloudy panel up over the stencilled sunrays to add some dimension.

I used a couple of stencils to create this card and they are both available to buy at www.funkyfossil.co.uk.  There is currently 15% off everything in store until midday on 1 April when you use the code MUM15.

Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah x

  4. I like how you added dimension to your design, putting the sun behind the clouds. Great effect! Thanks for playing with us at Inkspirational this fortnight.

  5. Sarah your sun really does shine brightly behind those clouds; I love the dual-coloured clouds and added shaped layer for great added depth to your design. Perfect for the LIM challenge this week!

  6. A stunning card Sarah! I love how you got those clouds so transparent and you can almost feel the warmth of the sun as it breaks through the clouds. That's a really cool card. Thanks for sharing it with us at Less is More xx
