I hope you are having a good week so far. I am back to work and the old routine tomorrow so I had to squeeze a little time in the craft room today :)
First up I made this card for CASology:
The cue card this week is Java which, as I don't have many coffee related images, was a bit of a stretch! However, I do have Paper Smooches Cyber Café and that has both computer and coffee related stamps - it is really fun :) I went with the computer related interpretation....
I have gone for a very CAS design this week and channelled my 'inner Ardyth'! I hope you like it.
I have also made a card to play along at Less Is More's challenge which has the theme of Animals. This is less of a CAS design but I just had to put those cute bears in a night time scene!
This card is full of Hero Art's goodness from the constellation background which was white embossed and then inked with Chipped Sapphire distress ink. The bears have been watercoloured and are from the sweet Lil Hoot set. The moon and sentiment are from Shoot for the Moon which I got recently from my fab blog friend, Barb Ghig - thanks Barb!
I will also link this card up at A2Z Scrapbooking's current challenge on the theme of encouragement.
That's all from me - it feels good to be back in the swing of making cards :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Perfect!!! Ardyth will be proud! :) I love the way you went with this! The blue and white looks so clean together!ReplyDelete
Thanks for joining us again over at CASology!
It's great to see you back in the old routine, Sarah! I love how you channeled your 'Inner Ardyth' on your first card! So clever and graphic, and perfectly CAS! I also love how you created your night time sky on your 2nd card, too! The bears are perfect, and your vellum sentiment and moon are fabulous! So glad you're enjoying your blog winnings!ReplyDelete
Love your new photo and blog background ~ WTG! Thanks so much for playing along with us at a2z Scrapbooking ~ I hope you'll be back again soon!

I just love your take on the Casology code word. I have to check out that set, it sure looks fun xReplyDelete
Two very different cards and each wonderful. I can see Ardyth's inspiration in the first one and the background of the second is so great for showing off the cute bears.ReplyDelete
This Ardyth applauds your inner Ardyth! Your card caught my eye right away! I love this interpretation. Now we just need one of the Indonesian island of Java and our set will be complete! lol! So glad you joined us at CASology!ReplyDelete
2 fantastic cards Sarah and I certainly had a similar 'java' script idea for CASology if I ever get around to it.ReplyDelete
So love your LIM card too. Exquisite background and a happy looking bear.
Thanks so much for sharing and taking part.
