Time Out Challenge #16

Hello!

Happy Thursday to you :)  Today is the start of our next challenge at Time Out which, this time is to CASE a beautiful card from Heather Telford.

Heather is such an amazing card designer and I love her designs for Penny Black. I am always so impressed by her use of colour, composition and watercolour!  In this card I was particularly taken with the leaves, autumn colours and die cut sentiment.

Here is what I made:

I have gone for a CAS look using some of my favourite autumn colours - Rusty Hinge, Aged Mahogany and Seedless Preserve.  I inked this lovely maple stamp from Clarity Stamps with a combination of these colours and combined with a die cut sentiment from My Favourite Things which is stacked up on several layers.

This week we are joined by the fabulous Carol as Guest Designer - she makes such cool cards and her blog is lots of fun.  Do drop by and check it out :)  Also head over to Time Out to see what the super talented design team have created to inspire you!

I will also join up at this week's Less Is More Challenge on the colour theme of Autumn's Bounty and at the Anything Goes challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More.

I look forward to seeing what you make :)

Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah x

  1. Gosh I hadn't thought of using kraft for a die cut word but what a great idea for this time of year....will have to use that one. I love the colours you have used here especially the touch of purple!

  11. Love the leaves. I don't have those colors of ink, except for Seedless Preserves, but I can see why I'd better get the others. They are great for leaves if you don't want to use red and orange.
